What your results mean
Download speed is how fast data reaches you: web pages, video calls and cloud files. Upload speed is how fast you send data: video calls, backups and VoIP phone calls. Latency (ping) is how long a round trip takes; under 50 ms feels instant. Jitter is how much latency varies; high jitter makes calls choppy.
As a rough guide for a small office, look for at least 25 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload and latency under 80 ms. Offices with many video calls and VoIP phones need more, especially upload.
Slow internet? Check these first
Restart your modem and router. Test again over a network cable to rule out Wi-Fi. Pause large downloads, backups and streaming on other devices. Move closer to your Wi-Fi access point. Then compare the result with the speed your internet plan promises.
